Supporting people with healing through touch and self-care technquies

About The Practitioner

I began my journey from an inquiry that asked me to ponder what people have said about me that I'm good at. I heard my mom and my brother, You are good with your hands. This led me to a thought, Healing through touch. And so it began, I found the World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts in San Francisco. When I read about the modaility of Vibrational Healing, I felt I was remembering. I signed up, began my school in November 2012 and instantly felt this is my hearts calling, I was home. I studied and worked at the school and the world of Healing through touch opened wide. I took many courses with multiple instructors during and since I completed my training. I am continuously inspired by the vast modalities created and in this amazing world of massage and ancient healing practices. I have studied with Rachael Angelise at the Body Song Massage Center School in Novato, Al Chan of Al Chan's Healing Hands in San Rafael, both have over 20 years in practice, have created their own modalities and I have taken every course they offer, (some of them twice.) My current studies have brought me to studying with John Prior who teaches the Rossiter Stretching Technique and Joel Hillman who teaches the wonderful art of Barefoot Massage.

I like to include stretching and gentle traction techniques, while encouraging joint mobility which helps the body to naturally realign itself. I tailor each session to the individual's needs. My training includes techniques which support relaxation as the muscle and connective tissue's may need a gentle touch and encouragement for release. Every body is different and each person receives in their own way.

By releasing tension the body relaxes, the blood flows, the breath becomes deeper and our body says Thank you. We live in a backwards time where people are in stress mode, tapping into the Parasympathetic Nervous System, allows for the body to relax, heal, rest and realign.
